Earthsaver's Guide to Human Nature

Humans are exquisitely nifty at pulling the strings of other life forms: we have harnessed cattle to feed us, cotton to clothe us, and yeast to ferment our beer, coaxed beasts, bugs, and plants alike to bow to our will. Yet, there remains one species that we haven’t quite got hold of, with the result it now threatens to destroy the biosphere we otherwise so skilfully manage. And the species is, of course, that of our own.
